Category Test Case Study: Health and Beauty Category

Objective: Understand category buying process, reaction to the existing category including signage, and discover ways to improve it.

Result: Shoppers were fairly educated on the category and did not buy impulsively. The “before” category was overwhelming initially and needed better organization and improved navigational signage. The “after” category had much better organization, but the signage needed to be improved more so shoppers could understand the organization.
